Contextual products Why use Mirago contextual products? Context Stream® enables you to display content-targeted links on your website. It works by detecting the ‘theme’ of the pages on your website and delivers targeted adverts (Mirago Featured Sites) straight to your visitors. It uses a number of clever techniques to determine the content of the page. Firstly, it detects the theme of the page, along with any additional themes. Secondly, it prioritises the themes based on their coverage and then delivers adverts related to those themes. This ensures that the adverts displayed are relevant to the website´s content. What are the benefits? What if my page contains various different subjects? Context Stream identifies and ranks differing points of interest on your web pages. We then render adverts for each topic which helps to ensure that all users gain exposure to adverts that may be of interest to them. This prevents adverts in the frame getting ‘fixated’ on one topic. What if my page content varies? This is not a problem. If your pages are updated they´ll be re-read to ensure that advertisers are constantly relevant. A variety of design options We understand that every website is different, and offer various combinations of frames. All you need to do is decide how many advert links you wish to render, where they should appear and we´ll serve the ad units that work best for your site. Of course, If you should still require further customisation then speak to us and we´ll do the rest. Can I add Context Stream listings on a page that already contains advertising? We believe you should have full control over your website content. You can add Context Stream campaigns to the same website that already contains other sponsored site listings, affiliate links or banners. |
