01 June 2003 Mirago Launches Mobile Search Service Mirago announced today the launch of a new mobile search service, aimed at those wishing to surf the net on the move. The site available from http://mobile.mirago.co.uk is designed to fit easily into the screen of internet capable 3G phones and allow users to track down the results they are looking for on their mobile. The service uses the same index as the main site, with over 100 million pages focused specifically on UK content. “We recognise wireless web use as an area of enormous potential, and we want our users to be able to find what they are looking for regardless of where they happen to be”, said Stephen Holmes CEO. The move underlines the company´s commitment to new technologies and wireless communications as an area of future development. Mirago´s European services also have their own country specific mobile search service at http://mobile.mirago.fr and http://handy.mobile.mirago.de. |
