Mirago Receives Honourable Mention At SearchEngineWatch Awards

Mirago, a UK provider of results for internet search engines, announced today it has received an honourable mention at the prestigious SearchEngineWatch Awards. Commended within the “Best Paid-Placement Service” award, Mirago was praised by judges looking for the best paid program providing guaranteed placement in search engine results.

The announcement took place at this year´s Search Engine Strategies conference in New York. Usually the domain of major American internet brands, SearchEngineWatch acknowledged Mirago for two of its recent technical advances that give advertisers more choice, including traffic source selection and dayparting (a service allowing Mirago´s advertisers to select the time of day, week and/or month when their listings are displayed).

Danny Sullivan, internet consultant and creator of SearchEngineWatch said: “We decided an honourable mention was warranted to highlight the advances that Mirago has made over the past year. Mirago has lead the industry in both of these fronts, and we´d like other paid listing providers to catch up.”

Stephen Holmes, chief executive officer for Mirago, said: “This award is a landmark of our growing success in the search engine industry and recognition of the recent technical developments made by the Mirago team.”
