Mirago Launches New Online Promotion Enabling Access to Partner Network
Mirago, a UK search engine, has today announced its latest online promotion. Businesses that implement an internet advertising campaign with Mirago will be credited an additional £15 onto their account.
New advertisers will have automatic access to search listings across Mirago’s partner network that operates throughout the country via its featured sites programme. Businesses or services are able to target anyone searching on the internet by placing a link to its website near or at the top of the search results that are rendered by Mirago (www.mirago.co.uk) and its various search engine partners for specific keywords.
Advertisers are simply charged on a pay per click (PPC) basis once a visitor has clicked through to their website*. Advertisers can also increase their chances of placement within the top three results of certain search engines by placing higher bids on specific keywords that in turn will direct more relevant traffic to their site.
Businesses can take advantage of the promotional offer by creating a strong internet presence until either their credit runs out or alternatively ‘top up’ the account if they want to continue the campaign. Progress can be monitored so advertisers can track effectiveness and locate traffic sources.
Derek Preston, chief technology officer at Mirago, said: “This is a good opportunity for smaller businesses to trial the internet and monitor its effect on sales and brand awareness at a low cost. If businesses are unsure of its worth it can simply be switched off once the credit has run out. However, we anticipate that a majority of businesses will notice great benefits from advertising on the internet through Mirago and its partners.”
