Mirago appoints new Marketing Manager

Mirago, a provider of results for internet search engines, today announced the appointment of Jonathan Porton as the new marketing manager.

Porton will be responsible for improving brand awareness and developing the marketing strategy for Mirago. He will also be concentrating on improving the website content and current publicity material, such as literature and print advertising.

Porton joins Mirago from one of the UK´s leading health Spas, Nirvana Spa in Wokingham, where he worked as the online marketing manager. Porton was attracted to Mirago because the position matched his background and combined both his marketing and technology experience.

Stephen Holmes, managing director at Mirago, said: “Mirago has grown exponentially over the past couple of years and to develop further we identified that we need to make our brand more visible. We hope that by developing this side of the business Mirago will continue to expand in to new markets.”

Previous to this, Porton gained his technology experience with companies such as HP and Microsoft. He also brings valuable agency experience, having worked for M&C Saatchi in London and Ogilvy & Mather in Denmark.
