Keith Parrish appointed as the Managing Director of Mirago plc

ALTON, January 1, 2007 - Mirago plc, a European provider of search and media related products has announced the appointment of Keith Parrish as the Managing Director of Mirago plc.

Keith joined the company in an executive capacity in November 2005, when he was given responsibility for all commercial and financial activities. Prior to that, Keith was a non-executive director and a founder shareholder of Mirago.

Since he assumed an executive role, he has further developed his understanding of all areas of the company and has been instrumental in implementing the strategic change in direction Mirago embarked upon in 2005, by negotiating two key white label technology partnerships during 2006.

Stephen Holmes, who will continue in the role of Chairman, said: "With his broad commercial background and experience in delivering large scale commercial software applications, Keith was the natural choice to lead Mirago's flagship initiative of offering technology solutions to media and search partners."

Keith's Background

After graduating from Southampton University, Keith started his professional career by qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He made the transition into a commercial role, when he was appointed Finance Director at Peoples Phone, who were at that stage a small independent cellular service provider. During his eight years at Peoples Phone, the company grew rapidly by establishing a nationwide chain of 180 retail outlets employing over 1,200 staff. Keith became Deputy MD, then Joint MD and retained that role until the company was sold to Vodafone. At that point Peoples Phone had developed an annual turnover in excess of £140M from over 400,000 customers.

Keith stayed on at Vodafone to assist in the integration of the newly acquired business with their service provider division. After a year, Keith joined Compsoft plc as Managing Director where he grew the business for some seven years. Compsoft is a software house which specialises in delivering bespoke technology solutions for a diverse range of companies and government bodies.

Mirago in fact commenced as an indexing project within Compsoft and was demerged as its own entity in 1999.
